A Riverside Inn Travelodge By Wyndham - Fairplay

This 'hotel' is unacceptable. I walked into a freezing room with a shower that smelled worse than my gym socks. After waiting forever for my room to be ready, I was baffled that no complimentary upgrade was offered, because obviously, I deserved it. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't.

I had reasonably priced room with a double bed. Friendly service was provided here. Early check-in was a bonus. The location was favourable, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from an open - air museum. It was also right by FairPlay for a family wedding.

We had pleasant overnight time, thank you very much for everything!

The staff was so friendly. And the location can't be beat for the price. The room was accessible from the main hallway. I particularly enjoyed the basic breakfast options like oatmeal and boiled eggs.

I showed up an hour post check-in, but the room wasn't ready, which threw my schedule off a bit since I wanted to explore the town. The room I booked wasn't available, and all king rooms were booked despite still being listed as available during my reservation. The TV connectivity was spotty, leading me to use my phone to stream, which isn't ideal when you're hoping to relax in a mountain setting.

The location was fantastic for our family. We took advantage of the nearby ski spots and discovered some beautiful trails for cycling. My elderly parents appreciated the friendly staff.

For dads, it would be great if there were more options for family activities.
